Product Designers communicate their ideas to other people in a variety of ways. One of the most universal ways of communicating    design ideas  is  through sketching and drawing. The first three lessons of your course will be spent developing sketching techniques,with particular emphasis on drawing in one point and two point perspective.

 

All of your drawings and sketches should be submitted for final assessment on Monday 16th September 2013

 

Get ready to draw lots and lots of Cubes!

 

Your first BTEC challenge

 

You are required to produce your own 1 or 2 point perpsective drawings on A3 paper. 

 

Start of with light construction lines, and finish with cubes from many angles that are rendered, have hard edge lines and look great. It takes time, you have to practise.

 

Then have a go at a communication challenge that University Graphic design students have to do.
